Our feelings are emotions
Emotions are the language of our physical body.
Exercise. Exercise consistently
· A sense of accomplishment after the exercise.
· Increases heart-rate, stimulates blood flow.
· The body is the temple in which we get to work on ourselves. Everything is easier if the body is strong.
· The exercise/workout may be the same/similar, but we are in a different head-space/feeling/mindset each day.
· The routines may be the same, but we aren’t, it is a totally different experience each time.
Find/try out different passions/interests
· Explore oneself: mentally, physically, spiritually.
· Be more self-aware and use every experience to learn more about ourself.
· Go do [insert sports name].
· Carry out our desires freely, as often as possible.
· Gather/try different experiences for fun.
Clean our environment
· Our space, Our room, Our apartment, Our house, Our home, Our car, Our shower, Our body, Our mind.
· Cleaning gives us a sense of accomplishment after the task. Our body stays active. Puts our mind and body in momentum to do more and move forward.
· Clears the mind and resets the environment to a fresh/neutral point where we can introduce/fill it with positive vibes, positive actions.
· It may be difficult to perform/do/act/take actions in a crowded or dirty place. Clean regularly and clean when we don’t know what to do.
· Get a sense of how we spend/use our time. Monitor/audit the content, the people, the influences we put in our mind.
Meditate
· Learn to quiet down and be calm, in any circumstances.
· To follow the breath and stay present.
· When we are calm, we can learn and do anything.
· Extricate ourselves from the total identification with our minds.
· Makes us effective as every act we do is a conscious and creative act, we are not thinking that we are doing x, y, or z. There is simply nobody doing them, the actions are just happening.
Practice yoga
· Control over our environment.
· Feels good to stretch/bend/manipulate the body in a way that is at one with the universe.
· The relation to the breath in different poses, or asanas, is the essence.
· A statement of Truth.
Positive Affirmations
Repeated phrase, a mantra, to trick the mind to always being/living in a positive space
· Any affirmation is better than no affirmation, and of course better than negative affirmation.
· We actually believe what we say, manifest, and put out loud.
· “I am a champion.”, “I am a loser.”. Big difference if one repeats the phrase, or the mantra, 50–100 times a day.
· This adds up over weeks and months, and years.
· The champion mindset becomes bulletproof over time.
· After having this practice of positive affirmations for a while, we are not “thinking” about the phrase, the mantra, the affirmation, we simply become one with it.
Truthfulness and Lying
· Tell the truth all the time, to everybody, and to Ourself.
· When we lie, we are creating a separation, a boundary, a degree of closedness between others [we close others off] because we cannot really fully open up, or that we are ashamed and we are hiding something, we are keeping something to ourselves.
· This translates to, the Ego-Identity in us cannot afford to lose, or to be exposed.
· We lie because the Ego-Identity fears of its potential death.
· When We really have nothing to hide, nothing to lose, or have no fear of being exposed, we can tell the truth all the time.
· Telling the truth also saves time because time won’t be spent to remember the lies and to orchestrate the bullshit.
· However, almost everybody has something to hide and we find that it is very difficult to tell the truth all the time because of our cultural, societal, and stereotypical conditioning.
Drugs/Substances
· Stay off of game-over drugs: heroin, crack, methamphetamine, IV Injection.
· Be careful with recreational and prescription drugs even when one practices self-control.
· It is very easy to abuse drugs, and very easy to be addicted to them. (Or the order is vise-versa). Read this again.
· The last thing we want to be is a drug-person, or someone who has to be dependent on drugs, or cannot function with the use of drugs.
· Drugs and substances should not be used in the hopes of escaping our reality. Meaning our responsibilities in every-day life. They should not be used to numb the pain, to deliberately make us insensitive, dull, and indifference.
· Planning is in general better than no planning.
· Set/Setting is crucial for any drug experience, no matter how experienced we think we are.
· We really enjoy the full effects of the drugs/substances when there are minimal stress in our life, when our priorities are in order, when our life is organized in a satisfied way, when we don’t have any immediate concerns or worries.
State of Mind
· Someone who has been smoking cannabis, occasionally use hard drugs, will have a very different state of mind than someone who has been sober for 2 weeks (Considering this person who has been sober for 2 weeks also has been smoking cannabis, and occasionally use hard drugs).
· The 2-week sober has allowed some time to reset serotonin/chemical levels in one’s brain.
· It is very murky, cloudy, and unclear looking/judging from the inside out. The inside is being high/under the influence, and the outside is regular, everyday, sober life.
· When one is always/constantly under the influence, its normal base-line of reality is altered and can often make illogical judgments that would only make sense when one is under the influences.
Eat healthier, cleaner foods, better quality food/fruits
· Learn different methods of cooking/eating/getting deliveries/restaurants/food stands.
· Eating schedule and the portion of the meal can be totally irregular. One should just notice the irregularity and get back to a working schedule that one has.
Try something new for the first time
Putting oneself outside of one’s comfort zone
· We grow when we are challenged, when we feel uncomfortable, and when we face difficulties.
· The experience in itself is invaluable as we grow and gain a new perspective.
· Let go of pre-existing models of how anything ought to be.
Take actions all the time, even when no one is watching and it’s just us.
· Work don’t do themselves. Nobody else will do the work for us.
· Show up and learn to stay consistent.
· Write down and make a list of the things that we want to get done.
· We get more ideas and insights as we take actions and start doing.
· Repetition makes the task easier. We become better the more we do anything.
· Give our all each day so that we have no regrets.
· Stay present and try to think about, make changes about, what can be done from this moment.
